Big Splash event from Liquid Media Group celebrates film in difficult times
The Big Splash from the Liquid Media Group is proving to be the hottest party during the Toronto International Film Festival. A guest list of industry excecutives, influential media, celebrities and glamorous people were all of attendance. It was the biggest media event and party to take place in the quiet city of Toronto.
The Company
Championing the night led by Joshua Jackson and CEO Ronald Thomson, this company brought this party to Great Gatsby levels. The Windson Arms Hotel was a great complement and introduction of how the Liquid Media Group does business.
The business entertainment solutions provider realizes the importance of developing independent creators from film, television and video games. Johsua Jackson knows that the lacklustre of help given to the up and coming content creators. They are transforming the landscape of the industry. They are helping those in need to meet their goals like they never could have before.
“Our company is addressing a significant challenge for independent creative professionals,” says Liquid’s Thomson, “…there is no better way to celebrate the importance of that work and all that we have accomplished than to gather safely with the industry’s best and brightest.”
The Party
There was no better place than the Windsor Arms Hotel to host this red carpet and media event. Its elegant spaces allowed for influential media to gain knowledge of who and what this group is all about. Hors d’oeuvres and an open bar was the offer to those who were attending this event. DJ Samantha Michelle led the way of the night with classic tunes that brought upon some safe dancing.
It was a chance that the Liquid Media Group had to take during an iconic festival like TIFF. Despite an hour long lineups and strict COVID-19 protocols, the parties and memories ends with a smile on your face. The company did this is in a fine and elegant fashion. The party is a reminder for everyone of how important and fun it is to celebrate film.
We spoke to Joshua Jackson, Ron Thomson, David Pinard, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Mourad Zaoui, Braden Morin and Charlot Daysh. They were all so glad to be back at this festival specifically at this event. Check out our video coverage of the event.
